3 Ways to help with writers block

1. Read through your book and try to imagine that your the main character and think what you would do next in that situation. So if you were in my book The Truth Of Being A Malfoy and you were running from Voldemort (which doesn't happen just so you know) and you were stuck on what's going to happen next. Pretend your Victoria and your the one running from Voldemort. Think what would you do next? If it was me they would option 1: Cast a spell to make them invisible. 2: They hide in a cave and wait for him to leave.. 3: They fight Voldemort.

2. Think of what your aim is and make different situations that can happen. So think about what the total aim is for the book. Then write down multiple situations that could happen for example in a book about a serial killer one of these things could happen:

  1. They get arrested

  2. They evade the police

  3. They carry on murdering people

  4. Get murdered themselves

  5. They kill themselves because they are about to get caught by the police

These are just a few situations that could happen in a book about a serial killer. Then what you want to do is rank them the most likely to happen to the least likely to happen (1. is least likely. 5. is most likely):

  1. They carry on murdering people

  2. Get murdered themselves

  3. They evade the police

  4. They get arrested

  5. They kill themselves because they are about to get caught by the police.

So what I did is rank them on the most dramatic ending this is what would keep the readers on the edge of the seat and ending on a high for the book. But it the ending can be to what ever the theme of your book is.

3. Take yourself away from writing. Whether its for an hour or a week. Have a break let your mind relax and calm down. Maybe go for a hike or a ride on a train or going some where new. Just do something to take yourself away from the book
